Careers in care

A stronger start. A future in care.

Supporting young starters to build careers in care

A first role in care should open a pathway, not feel like a dead end. Under-25s have the highest turnover of any age group at 35.5% and make up only around 7% of the workforce. A proper induction, supportive mentoring, meaningful responsibility and a clear development pathway help young starters build confidence and see the difference they make.
