Refund & Cancellation Policy

This revised draft explains the financial arrangements that may apply when you book or enrol on an Achievers Training College programme. Your course confirmation or invoice remains the source of the exact fee, payment dates and any agreed plan. The cancellation thresholds below remain subject to statutory rights and Emily Douglas’s confirmation before publication; this policy does not invent prices.

Website draft — legal and operational review required.

This document is a substantial working draft for ATC. Confirm the bracketed or course-specific details and obtain appropriate legal and operational review before relying on or publishing it as an approved policy.

Achievers Training College Ltd (ATC)

Version

0.1 draft

Purpose and scope

Purpose

Explain how ATC will administer course fees, payment plans, cancellation, withdrawal, transfer, deferral and refunds fairly.

Scope

Learners, employers or other payers booking an ATC course, alongside the course confirmation, invoice and any statutory consumer rights.

Responsibilities

ATC

State the applicable fee and payment terms before commitment, keep financial records and assess requests consistently and lawfully.

Payer

Pay by the agreed dates, provide accurate billing details and notify ATC promptly about cancellation or financial difficulty.

Course team

Record learning delivered, access supplied, assessment activity and agreed transfer or deferral arrangements.

How the policy works

  1. Check the enrolment confirmation for the exact fee, deposit, instalments, cancellation rights and any disclosed course-specific conditions.

  2. Submit a written request with name, course, enrolment reference if available, dates, reason and requested outcome.

  3. ATC will assess the request against the contract, law, delivery already provided and any disclosed committed costs.

  4. Provide the decision, calculation and review route in writing, without treating non-attendance as automatic cancellation.

Fees, deposits and revised draft cancellation terms

The total fee, any deposit, what is included, applicable taxes and payment dates should be set out clearly before enrolment. A deposit may reserve a place or cover committed administration and delivery costs. The website does not currently provide an online checkout, automated booking form or payment processing; any payment route, provider or payment terms must be confirmed before publication: [To be confirmed by ATC before publication]. The following refund bands are a revised draft and remain subject to statutory rights and Emily Douglas’s confirmation.

Payment plans

ATC may agree an instalment plan in writing. Instalments remain due on the agreed dates even if a learner is behind with activities, unless ATC confirms a variation. Payment plan changes, employer sponsorship and third-party funding should be agreed before a missed instalment becomes overdue.

Missed payments and outstanding balances

If a payment is missed, ATC will contact the payer and provide a reasonable route to clarify or resolve the issue. If the balance remains unpaid, ATC may restrict access, pause assessment or withhold certification to the extent permitted by the course agreement and law. Any recovery action will be proportionate. Non-attendance does not automatically remove the balance.

Cancellation before learning starts

A cancellation request should be sent to ATC in writing as soon as possible. ATC will consider the applicable contract, statutory cancellation rights, notice given, committed costs and any course-specific terms. If a refund is due, ATC will confirm the amount and expected method of payment.

Withdrawal after learning starts

A learner who withdraws after the course begins should tell ATC promptly and explain whether they seek a transfer or deferral. ATC will consider learning delivered, assessments attempted, resources supplied, third-party charges and the agreed payment terms. Any remaining balance or refund will be explained in writing.

Refunds, transfers and deferrals

ATC may offer a transfer to a later cohort or another suitable programme where places, entry requirements and awarding rules allow. A deferral is not automatic and may have an administration charge only if this was clearly disclosed and is lawful. Transfers and deferrals should record the revised end date, outstanding evidence, fees and platform access.

How to request a review

Send a cancellation, withdrawal, transfer or refund request to info@achieverstrainingcollege.co.uk with your name, course, enrolment reference if available, request and preferred outcome. ATC will acknowledge the request and provide its decision under the applicable contract and legal timeframes. If you disagree, you may use the Complaints Policy. The revised draft terms remain subject to statutory rights and Emily Douglas’s confirmation.
