Learn With Us / Your route
From first question to confident next step.
Every programme has its own detail, but a clear learner journey helps you know what is likely to happen and where to ask for help.
The detail
Clear information for a confident next step.
1. Explore
Start with your goal, role and experience. Compare the course options, delivery methods and outcomes, then contact ATC if you need help identifying the right route.
2. Apply and prepare
ATC confirms the programme information, entry requirements, fees, timetable, support and assessment arrangements that apply. Complete the application or enrolment steps and prepare any required documents.
The systems around your journey
ATC manages learner support, assessment, IQA and centre records. Highfield Vault supports the relevant learning activity; it does not replace ATC’s responsibilities.
- ATC Website: course information, applications, enquiries and public learner information.
- ATC Application & Compliance: eligibility, compliance checks and enrolment.
- Highfield Vault: Highfield’s third-party e-learning, qualification resources and applicable assessment or evidence platform. It is used only where applicable and is not ATC’s learner-record system.
- ATC Trainer / Assessor Support: teaching, guidance, assessment, feedback and learner support.
- ATC IQA and Highfield quality oversight: ATC manages internal quality assurance and centre records, with Highfield oversight where awarding requirements apply.
- ATC Calendar: public training information alongside the learner journey. A future learner-only calendar will be separate and personalised after learner access is configured.
The ATC Calendar
The public Training Calendar may show confirmed course starts, inductions, Wednesday teaching sessions, information sessions, application or enrolment deadlines and important college dates. It is for general information, not online booking.
Learner-specific timetables, assessment deadlines, submission dates, progress reviews and learning links belong in the planned My Learner Calendar, which will not be public.
3. Learn and apply
Work through structured learning, ask questions, practise skills and connect knowledge to safe, person-centred care. Depending on the course, this may happen online, in a classroom, in a workplace or through a blend.
4. Prove and progress
Submit authentic evidence, use feedback, complete the relevant assessment route and receive the outcome available for the programme. Then use the experience to plan your next responsibility, qualification or career step.
