Frequently asked questions

Start with the answer you need.

Course details can vary. Where a question depends on a programme or cohort, ATC will confirm the current position before enrolment.

What does Achievers Training College do?

Achievers Training College (ATC) is a specialist health and social care education, workforce development and leadership training provider. ATC supports learners and organisations through qualifications, foundational training, practical skills and progression pathways.

What is the relationship between ATC and Highfield?

ATC is the training provider and approved centre. Highfield is the awarding organisation for relevant qualifications and sets or oversees the requirements that apply to its qualifications and certification. The two organisations have different responsibilities.

What is Highfield Vault?

Highfield Vault is a third-party digital learning platform used specifically where applicable for the Level 3 Diploma in Adult Care programme. It may provide digital learning resources or activities, but it is not owned by ATC and does not replace ATC teaching, assessment or quality responsibilities.

How is learning delivered?

Depending on the course, delivery may include online live training, e-learning, classroom sessions, workplace assessment or blended learning. ATC should confirm the delivery pattern, timetable and practical requirements for the programme and cohort you are considering.

How do I choose a course?

Start with your role, experience and next goal. Compare the course pages, consider the learning and assessment route, then contact ATC if you need help understanding entry requirements, delivery, fees or progression.

How does assessment work?

Assessment depends on the programme and may include written work, knowledge questions, portfolios, work products, observation, witness testimony, professional discussion, practical demonstration or structured assessment. ATC will explain the criteria, evidence, deadlines and submission route before or during learning.

Can I ask for learning or assessment support?

Yes. Tell ATC as early as possible about a disability, health condition, language need, significant event or other circumstance that may affect access or assessment. ATC can explain the reasonable adjustment, special consideration or learner support route that applies.

Where can I ask about fees and payment?

Course-specific fees, deposits, instalments, refunds and cancellation terms should be confirmed before enrolment. Contact ATC for the current information for the programme you are considering and keep the written confirmation.

How do I apply?

Use the Apply Now page to understand the suggested steps, then contact ATC if you need to clarify your course, eligibility, fees or support before submitting information.

Where can I raise a concern?

You can contact ATC with a question or concern. Public routes for complaints, appeals, safeguarding, learner welfare and related matters are available in the Policies & Legal hub. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services first.
